Used and abused: Lindy and Anthea

Two friends brought together by their shared experience of domestic violence. Lindy was seventeen when she met her boyfriend, but it soon turned sour, and after ten years she found the courage to leave him for the sake of their four children. Anthea hoped at 39 she'd be third time lucky in love, but her marriage lasted less than seven months after the abuse became unbearable. Lindy set up Survivors of Domestic Abuse to help women heal the wounds of physical and mental abuse. But the mental scars remain long after the physical ones have healed.
