Should Facebook Censor Violent Images?

The social media giant Facebook published some impressive earnings figures after the New York markets closed on Wednesday. But some of their thunder's been stolen by a row over their decision not to censor videos published by Facebook users which show extreme violence and deaths. They include a clip which shows a woman being beheaded by a masked man. Facebook has since said it WOULD remove the videos, until it has reviewed its position. On the programme we speak to Stephen Balkam, who's been critical of Facebook's initial stance. He heads a group called the Family Online Safety Institute in the US - a group that Facebook consults about their content. Also - we discuss the implications for the Bangladeshi clothing trade with the EU's trade commissioner Karel De Gucht and from the International Labour Organization.
