What has happened to the Middle East media in the two years since the start of the Arab Spring? Is there a movement away from impartiality? What is the role of regional and local news channels? Where do bloggers who are also activists fit into the media mix? Richard Sambrook explores the issues with a panel of senior editorial figures including Wadah Kanfar, the former director general of Al Jazeera, the BBC's chief international correspondent Lyse Doucet and Faris Couri, editor BBC Arabic. Egyptian blogger Wael Abbas and Fatima El Assawi from the London School of Economics, whose current project is called 'Arab Revolutions: Media Revolutions' are also on the programme; and joining us from New York is the Al Hayet columnist Raghida Dergan.
