Val and Kelly are from two very different backgrounds. Val came into Kelly's life four years ago when Kelly was diagnosed with MS. Kelly is a single mum with two children and Val worked with the charity Home-Start to provide home help. Since then, Kelly has lost her 13 year old sister to cancer and her son Kai has recently developed Leukaemia. Despite moving on to work with Samaritans, Val has supported Kelly throughout and they've built a lasting close friendship…
