We hear about a poetess from 200 years ago - Sarah Leech, a weaver’s daughter from near Raphoe in Donegal, who was writing at the same time as Sir Walter Scott was publishing his Waverley novels. Sarah Leech wrote her poetry in the braid Scots of her east Donegal home. Stewart Buchanan has been researching the life and work of Sarah Leech and he tells Conal Gillespie what he has discovered.
