The castaway in this week's Desert Island Discs is Lord Jenkins of Hillhead - formerly Roy Jenkins. He'll also be looking back on his Welsh origins and the early days of the Social Democratic Party, of which he was a founding member, as well as challenging his popular image as a claret-drinking intellectual.
