Advertising in Zimbabwe

Business Daily

Available for over a year

In Zimbabwe, ministers from the "inclusive" power-sharing government predict the battered economy is on track to expand in 2010. But is there enough certainty for the economy to really take off? Lesley Curwen talks to Crispen Sachikonye, from one of Zimbabwe's largest advertising agencies, Hash Three. He says his clients are not doing well and he sees no prospects for rapid growth in the near future, thanks to continuing political uncertainty. Plus, Xin Li from the BBC's Chinese Service explains why China's investments in the Greek Port of Piraeus are growing. And our regular commentator Lucy Kellaway gives an impartial view on whether women make better bosses than men. She asks: would BP have emerged differently from the oil spill crisis, if it had been led by a woman?
