Battle of Britain

Witness History

Available for over a year

In the summer of 1940, the Royal Air Force faced a desperate fight to stop a German invasion of Britain. Despite being less experienced and vastly outnumbered, the RAF learned quickly enough to defeat the Luftwaffe. For Witness, an RAF pilot remembers his part in the battle and says it was good organisation that ultimately stopped the Nazis.
