Lucy Duran presents the first of three programmes recorded on location in Peru. She begins her journey on the way to the lost city of Machu Picchu and the haunting huaynos of the Andes. Plus she explores the Afro-Peruvian traditions of the Pacific coast including a session with Peru’s most famous singer Susana Baca, and a visit to one of Latin America’s most atmospheric clubs, the Pena Don Porfirio.
