The current wait for learner drivers to book a test is six months in many parts of the country, and many people pay above face value to secure a test sooner than that. As a result, the DVSA has announced changes to how the system will work. Now, tests can only be booked by the person taking the test and there is a limit on how many times a booking can be changed.
