Cerys Matthews talks to award winning actor Sir Jonathan Pryce about the music, film, fashions and fads of 1965, the year he turned 18. Jonathan Pryce grew up in Flintshire and would go on to attend art college followed by RADA. Later, he'd win awards for roles on stage in the likes of Hamlet and Miss Saigon. In film, he's played Bond villains, Popes and US Presidents and on the small screen, he's best known for star turns in The Crown, Game of Thrones, Slow Horses and most recently, Under Salt Marsh. In this candid conversation, Jonathan talks to Cerys about his 'wilderness year' of 1965 and the pop culture that was formative through this period.
