Ed's son Jake introduces him to the world of artificial intelligence, but Ed wants absolutely nothing to do with it, insisting that if left unchecked it will destroy civilization. Meanwhile, Jaz has signed Ed up to write a bottle episode of the new show he’s working on about two chalk-and-cheese cops who ‘do things their own way’. Against his better judgement Ed accepts the job and in the process finds himself face to face with an old acquaintance… and her tortoise.
