Melodic techno is characterised by hypnotising progressions and cinematic drops. It is a sound that takes you on a journey, and originally thrived in the underground in the mid-late 00s. It evolved from traditional techno and took elements from minimal sounds and even trance music to become the sound we recognise today. Pete plays some of his favourites from the genre including the likes of M.A.N.D.Y, Solomun, Adriatique, Stefan Bodzin and more.
