(16/17) The fourth of the 2024 semi-finals will determine who takes the last of the places in the grand Final, and stands a chance of becoming the 71st BBC Brain of Britain champion. Russell Davies asks questions encompassing the widest possible spread of topics, including performance poetry, children's television, South American geography, Labour party leaders, Italian cooking, German literature and the history of ancient Rome. Facing Russell's questions today are: Tim Hall, from Kidlington near Oxford Alan Eeles, from Kidderminster in Worcestershire Caroline Latham, from Romford in Essex Sarah Thornton, from Holmfirth in West Yorkshire. The competition is sure to be keen, as all of the competitors have already either won their heats or been notably high-scoring runners-up.
