Neha Kakkar is an Indian singer. She began her singing journey at a young age, performing at religious events. In 2005, she competed on the singing reality show Indian Idol but was eliminated early. She then launched her debut album in 2008 with Meet Bros. In 2012, her release of the dance track Second Hand Jawaani from Cocktail rose her to prominence. She appeared in the India Forbes Celebrity 100 in 2017 and 2019. In December 2020, she appeared on the list of Asia's 100 Digital Stars by Forbes.
