Llanfechell Community Dig

Science Cafe

Available for over a year

Adam Walton speaks to a community in North Wales, who have come together with archaeologists, to try and uncover evidence of a pre-historic settlement that may have existed on the edge of the village of Llanfechell in Anglesey. To tell us more about the dig are Archaeologists, Mike Wood and Jane Kenny. We chat to Volunteer Co-Ordinator, Tonya O'Donnell, and catch up with some of the volunteers themselves. Plus a former teacher and history enthusiast, Nigel Thomas, tells us more about the local area. Produced by Stuart Russell. Thank you to Sound Recordist, Paul Williams.
