Sunday

Available for over a year

Childrens' rainbow pictures have become a familiar sight in windows across the UK and have become a symbol of hope during the coronavirus crisis. Rainbows have symbolised many things over the centuries and they also appear in the scriptures of different faiths. We take a look at rainbows in religion. Dr Hina J Shahid - Chair of the Muslim Doctors Association - suggests how Muslims can overcome the challenges of observing Ramadan in lockdown. It’s not just businesses that have seen their revenues hit because of the coronavirus, faith groups too have been hit hard. The Bishop of Manchester - David Walker - tells Emily about the tough financial choices that the Church of England is having to face now and in the future.
