Are you worried about your use of painkillers?

You and Yours

Available for over a year

Doctors are prescribing ten million more strong opioid painkillers than they did ten years ago. The Department of Health and Social Care has asked the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, or NICE, to come up with new guidelines around these drugs for GPs. They've been asked to look at how to prescribe them safely, and crucially, how to help people who want to wean themselves off them. We're asking do you worry about how you're using strong painkilers? Have you tried to cut them down? Have you attempted to wean yourself off them - and how hard was the process? Tell us your story, email [email protected] and leave a phone number.
