Michael Palin

Front Row

Available for over a year

Michael Palin has just donated his archive to the British Library, and Stig joins him there to look through fifty year's worth of notes, letters, scripts and diaries - including an unpublished novel and drafts of some of the most famous comedy sketches broadcast on television. Palin explains how a childhood telling stories in Sheffield, drove him to become one-sixth of Monty Python and an intrepid presenter of travel documentaries - renowned for both his writing and performing.
