More than two years of civil war have left thousands dead in Yemen. Health, water and sanitation systems are collapsing and now the country faces the worst cholera outbreak in history. The Queen's Young Leaders' Awards are given out to inspiring young people from all over the Commonwealth. Jane spoke to one of this year's recipients, Ruth Nabembezi from Uganda, aged 22, the founder and CEO of Ask Without Shame. A few years ago parents in Bristol started a scheme banning cars from residential streets for a few hours so children could play outside. A new report from the University of Bristol confirms that handing over the streets to kids for a while helps increase physical activity and improves community cohesion. We speak to one of the authors of the report.
