Front Row comes live from a boat on the Thames, celebrating 300 years to the hour since Handel first performed his Water Music for King George I. Bridget Cunningham and the London Early Opera baroque orchestra perform highlights from Handel's Water Music. Front Row has commissioned a new piece specially for the occasion by Grace Evangeline Mason, a former winner of the BBC Proms Inspire young composer competition, called River. With music historian and director of the Barbican, Nicholas Kenyon. And Chris Livett, the latest in a long line of Thames Waterman, who holds the title of Queen's Waterman.
