Divis Mountain

On Your Farm

Available for over a year

Ruth Sanderson surveys the agriculture in the hills above Belfast. Divis Mountain towers above the city and, weather permitting, provides spectacular views across Northern Ireland. Formally a British Army base during The Troubles, the site has been owned for the last 12 years by the National Trust. Ruth meets the farmers who graze livestock on the mountain and hear about the unique challenges involved in farming on Divis. Producer: Beatrice Fenton.
