Diabulimia is an eating disorder which affects people with Type 1 Diabetes. It is not yet recognised as a medical condition but is a commonly used term within the diabetes community. Kings College Hospital, London is extending its specialist service to sufferers and studies the serious health impacts of reducing insulin to control weight. Jane speaks to Emma, a survivor of Diabulimia, Khalida Ismail, Professor of Psychiatry and Medicine at King's College, and Libby Dowling of Diabetes UK, a clinician with many years' experience of the condition. Film critic and writer Karen Krizanovich claims Zsa Zsa Gabor, whose death has been announced, as a satirist and feminist. She was much-married, very keen on diamonds and a renowned beauty but she knew all about female power and how to use it. We hear from the wife and daughter of Paul Collins who has recently joined a number of former professional footballers in accusing the football scout Eddie Heath of sexual abuse. Adrianne Collins and her daughter Chelsea discuss their reaction to the news and how the revelation has strengthened their family relationships. Podcaster and craft enthusiast Helen Zaltzman has an annual gingerbread-decorating afternoon with her friends in the run-up to Christmas. She popped into the studio to give Jane Garvey some icing tips and the two of them set about capturing 2016 in biscuits.
