Getting children engaged in understanding money can take many forms - from putting coins into a piggy bank to paying into a savings account. For many young adults credit and debt take over as a financial priority. The Step Change debt charity says it has seen an increase in the number of under 25-year-olds calling its helpline. Adam Shaw and guests discuss the extent to which family attitudes towards cash and debt can influence the financial habits of their children in later life.
