He talks to composer, pianist and journalist Peter Dickinson about a lifetime spent writing, performing and thinking about music. He also joins tenor Ian Bostridge and director Netia Jones in rehearsal for Hans Zender's re-imagining of Schubert's song cycle Winterreise.
