On Your Farm

Available for over a year

Eating your garden - the ethnobotanist James Wong guides us through eating the many edible plants in our gardens. There are many crops that we could be growing for food but don't think of eating, because we regard them as ornamental flowers. Dahlia tubers are edible and make a good alternative to potatoes, while hosta shoots are a delicacy in Japan. Presented by James Wong and produced by Emma Weatherill.
