Today our correspondent takes a drive through the country which was once one of Africa's success stories -- today the journey reveals Ivory Coast, after months of conflict, is a devastated, fearful place. There's an initiative underway in Afghanistan to improve the lot of women about to give birth. At the moment many are dying in childbirth and many children perish within the first weeks of life.
