Front Row

Available for over a year

Writer William Trevor rarely gives interviews, usually preferring to let the words on the page speak for him. But in a special edition of Front Row with Mark Lawson, the author reflects on his long career as a novelist, short story writer and sculptor. Trevor's work has won him many awards and he has also successfully adapted several of short stories, including The Ballroom of Romance, for television and film. In conversation with Mark Lawson he remembers Ireland, discusses the future of literature and reveals why preachers in a church near Daventry are indebted to him.
