Sandi Toksvig explores the back streets of old Paris with the help of writer Gillian Tindall, the author of Footprints in Paris - A few streets, a few lives. Her exploration revives 200 years of history through the lives of real individuals who inhabited some of Paris oldest streets in the Latin Quarter. The programme also uncovers an obscure corner of British military history involving Belize, HMS Ark Royal and Buccaneer fighter bombers through author Rowland White's Pheonix Squadron.
