Arrived at last! I can't wait to put down this heavy rucksack.
Hmm, where should I pitch the tent? I don't want to smell the toilets come Sunday.
This looks like a pleasant spot. Now, as a veteran of many festivals, I know from bitter experience that it is essential to put the tent up before doing anything else.
Perhaps just one beer though...
Oh...
There's nothing better than Glastonbury nights, singing songs by the campfire.
Taking a break between songs!
It's been a long and tiring day...
...and so to bed.
I think the rain seems to have shrunk my tent!
An aerial view of the site.
Time to see some bands! It's often difficult to get near the front at the main stage, as there's always such a large crowd - at least I think that's why it looks so small.
It's great to escape the crowds and chill out at the mystic stone circle.
Glastonbury is notorious for its toilets.
Back to the tent for some nosh. I've marked my territory with the tape, and the flag should enable my friends to find me easily in the sea of tents.
I've never yet managed to put up a tent that stays up for the whole festival, but it's been a good one. Same again next year then.
This festival is quite easy to clear up afterwards.
