>>> Moby is so nicknamed because of the fact that he can trace his ancestry to the author of the famous whaling tale.

>>> In 1992, he did his first-ever American tour with the Shamen.

>>> Since then he has toured with the Prodigy, Richie Hawtin, Orbital and Aphex Twin.

>>>In 1995, he released his first real album, 'Everything is Wrong' which was named Spin's 'Album of the Year'. In 1997, he stopped touring for a while and worked on some film music, including the 'James Bond Theme'. Then in May of 1999, 'Play' was released.
