Eat: More!

Our little bus has criss-crossed the West Country for four summers now, celebrating and investigating the local food revolution. On this page you'll find recipes, a kit for a local lunchbox challenge, and loads of links...

There are loads of TV cookery programmes, chefs-a-plenty.

Not many of them investigate how their food got to the kitchen. And very few would cook in a 26 year old camper van, perched on the side of Exmoor or in a prison yard.

On the map on the main page you can watch 28 food stories, filmed across the West Country.

Why not explore the extraordinary edible landscape of our region? You’ll find wild wortleberries, a man who fishes in the mudflats, and a scrummy smokery in Warminster.

There are challenges too: can we cook a business banquet for 200 with local food? Or sell Cheddar to the French? Surf around, cook the recipes, tell us your favourite local secrets too – and enjoy.
