On reprising his role as Vladimir in Waiting for Godot, James said: "This play is a remarkable piece of writing". "It's about these two guys who are waiting for someone called Godot, who never comes. "It's often done as a rather dour piece, but in actual fact Vladimir and Estragon (played by Alan Dobie) are like Laurel and Hardy, or Morecambe and Wise. "They're a double act, and the play is very, very funny." |
