Castle Gardens The remains of Bridgnorth Castle, perched on the cliffs of High Town, tower over the River Severn. Most of the castle was destroyed at the end of the English Civil War. However, the grounds now house the beautiful Castle Gardens, including a statue of Sabrina, traditionally the goddess of the Severn.
