The film will be premiered at the Karachi Film Festival on 13th December 2003. The story revolves around a woman torn between the love of her father and her boyfriend. Her father has recently lost his wife. He comes to terms with his loss by seeking solace in religion. He joins a monastery where he finds peace within himself. But life soon changes. His daughter grows up and she falls in love with a police officer. He has a different outlook on life. This gives rise to frictions due to the personal beliefs of all these three characters. Filmed in Spiti, on the Indo-China border, the script for Paap is written by Mahesh Bhatt whilst the musical score is rendered by Anu Malik. Pooja Bhatt has produced and directed the film. Paap stars John Abraham and model turned actress Uditi in lead roles. So watch out for a release soon at a cinema near you! |
