Baghban (meaning gardener) is a film keenly awaited by the UK audience. This is due to the fact, that it comes from the makers of past Bollywood blockbuster including Zameer, Waqt, The Burning Train, Dahleez, Mazdoor and Aaj Ki Aawaz. B.R. Films is known for the presence of mega star status in their films. Baghban is no exception. Bollywood's dream girl, Hema Malini makes a comeback as she pairs once again with Amitabh Bachchan. They are ably supported by a star cast of Salman Khan, Rimi Sen, Mahima Choudhary, Aman Varma, Patresh Rawal, Suman Raghunathan, Sameer Soni, Divya Dutta and Saahil. The film deals with the trials and tribulations faced by a particular family as the years go by. Directed by Ravi Chopra, Baghban is already released at selected cinemas across the UK on Friday 3rd October 2003. The film should arrive at UCI Telford in Shropshire later on in October. |
