Josh and Kirsty do V

With their tents, notebooks and cameras packed, Josh Withey and Kirsty Hannah headed to the V Festival at Weston Park.

The weather forecast wasn't great for the V weekend at Weston Park and most campers had packed their wellies. However, it turned out to be one of the best weekends of the summer and the problem wasn't avoiding the rain but the sun, with many reports of sunburn.

"Robert Plant was the star of the whole festival. Yes he was on a small stage, yes he wasn’t headlining but he was still the best."
Josh Withey

The atmosphere was just as hot as thousands packed Weston Park on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border to listen to some of the biggest names in music.

Josh and Kirsty hung out with the likes of Scissor Sisters, Franz Ferdianand, Kaiser Chiefs, Rooster, The Hives and Good Charlotte. They also captured some of the best sets of the weekend from the pit.

Going backstage, Kirsty also grabbed interviews with Athlete and Idlewild

The tents were finally packed up on Monday morning, and reflecting on the weekend, Kirsty caught the atmostere of 2005's V in her festival diary, while Josh picked the best and worst sets of the weekend.

All in all a great weekend for our two Blast reporters, even if they had to pack up the tents in the rain!
