Tech Tips
The faster your bike, the better it is. We all want to ride like Jay Miron don't we? Well I do anyway, so here's two tips that will make your bike way faster than it is now. They are screamingly obvious, but sometimes things like this are so obvious that they just...blah blah...'wood for the trees' etc etc.

1) Keep your bike clean and lubed. If your bike is dirt free and lubed up with a good quality lube (see the Tried and Tested section for good lubes) your cranks and wheels will spin much faster, your brakes won't wear down as fast and they'll also grip your rims better.

2) Run hard tyres. Fill up your tyres to their maximum capacity every couple of months using a quality track pump (you may need to visit a bike shop). Air seeps out of your tubes very slowly over the months and you may not even realise how soft they are, but you'll notice as soon as you get on your bike after filling them up. Your landings may have to improve as there won't be that cushion of air any more but it's well worth it and you'll roll so much faster it's untrue.
