The Ferries of the Isles

You might be interested in a new series called The Ferries of the Isles which starts on Monday on Radio Scotland. Here are the programme details…

“Join Mark Stephen and Donald Meek on the Clyde and find out the strange connection between Calmac and the Confederates, revisit the magic of the King George V steaming out of Oban for Fingal's Cave, and hear how Ceilidh King Fergie MacDonald got banned from Iona, in the first of our three glimpses into the Kingdom of Macbraynes.”

Fancy a listen? The Ferries of the Isles is broadcast on Monday at 1130. Don’t worry if you can’t tune in at the time, you can always catch it via the Listen Again facility. The programme will be available there for seven days after transmission.

We've had so many ferry cancellations recently some think Cal Mac is more of a myth. Look forward to listening
