After Island Wanderer's bout of original poetry, thought I'd mention Radio Scotland's search for your favourite Scottish poem. Launched on National Poetry Day, 6 October they'll be collecting your entries until St Andrew's Day on the 30 November.

They say: "By taking part you'll automatically be entered into a prize draw with the chance to win a beautiful book of Scottish poetry - Edinburgh Book of Twentieth Century Poetry (edited by Maurice Lindsay and Lesley Duncan)."
