Hello, welcome to Island Blogging! Look forward to your next post...

Anne from IBHQ

If you think it works it's probably about to break.

Nic from Coll

Hello Good luck in your next attempt. Oh and watch out for another feline codenamed FC

Barebraes from Shapinsay

Miaow?

Flying Cat from Alert but not alarmed

Mewslie?

izzieiambic from Orcadensia

May I buy you a drink? 2% milk would do? Good grief, another cat blogger. Did one of Moo's multitude get away, or has one of Carol's made its way in past immigration? Anyway, welcome, welcome ... for now.

mjc from NM,USA

Welcome to the madhoose. Oh yeh, you might want to check oot Thewhitesettlers blogs for fascinating insights into bracket usage.

Ruthodanort from Unst

proper writing? who does that?

scallowawife from shetland

woaiM

Cat aboom from alarmed but not exploded

Another blooming cat, oh heck, I'm surrounded by them, In answer to scallowawifes question, ME. Please remember if you open a bracket ( as such, you should close it as such ) Good luck with your proper writing, as apart from my own blog the rest is just....

thewhitesettler from lewis

Meeeeeeeeeeep!!!

Flying Cat from pin-in-but-shakey-paw

I'm allergic to cats.

Muness from Fetlar

At last! Cats are in charge!

mia from on the book case

greetings wha ha ha ha ha ha

ChaosOverlord from the Shadows

Allergic to cats eh? I'm on the boat....no haud on, there's a Mac to consider before being too hasty. Think I'll stay here with this iMac.... discretion and all that. You may think so mia, but, sadly, Coco the d.o.g. on Coll has a friend called Rex. I'm afraid they are ganging up on us. *shudder*

Flying Cat from trying to believe one impossible thing.....

well, looks as though we'll just have to get MC back or maybe the Annecat could start contributing?

mia from thru the looking glass

Does Coco on Coll have yet another friend called Prince? And so on, "down the line." # Did mia mean "under charge"? Otherwise, I am utterly baffled!!

mjc from NM,USA

I mean't what I said mjc. CATS are in charge, we just don't often admit it, we like an easy life, so prefer bipeds to think they run things....

mia from on the book case

Hi mia, no wonder I don't have cats. I would rather be in charge myself. This morning, for example, I stood at the bottom of the driveway, and told my black lab: "fetch" and pointed in the direction of the newspaper way up there. Out Thora went and came back with the rag. When was the last time a cat earned its friskies, i would like to know!!

mjc from NM,USA

Earned? Hmmmmmmmm. Earned, eh? Nope. Concept unrecognised by massive catbrain. Just goes to show the innate nice-but-dimness of d.o.g.s.

Flying Cat from plinthly heights

mmm ... you sent out the dog .... to fetch a newspaper... it came back with a RAG .. and your happy with that? did you change your mind about reading the paper - or did you set to and clean the car? I dunno. might as well have sent the cat, mutter mutter....

scallowawife from in confusion

Is Confusion the name of the new house that you're nearly-nearly-nearly in, scallowawife?

Flying Cat from aga dreaming

next week, fc, next week. all now depends on NorthLink and the shipping or lack of it... cooker should be here sunday...or wednesday...or...

scallowawife from nearly there

Oh come now, mjc, we grace the world with our presence, what more do we need to do???

mia from chuckling on a chair

I must admit that all 14 of our farm cats earn their friskies night and day! They help keep the rat population down and save our barley. A lot of work goes into that barley - sowing, fertilizing with dung, reaping, crimping, storing...them rats have not earned 365 days of free lunches!! GO CATS! woot! woot! (I haven't seen Stripey Nose for a wee while. Has she run off and started an Island Blog??)

Michellechoza from on a bale of stray with the pusses

A rag is a newspaper by a different name. Which Aga are you dreaming of, FC?

mjc from NM,USA

I khan't quite remember...

Flying Cat from in a Persian Carpet

No matter: any Aga is worth its weight in gold (precious metals, whatever), or so I read.

mjc from NM,USA

I'm leaving my aga behind...

scallowawife from nearly there

Is it a very red and shiny aga behind or one of those tasteful creamy ones?

Flying Cat from rock bottom

Hello Capri.: are you from Birsay, by any chance? There is a long suffering cat from Mainland who hails from Birsay, apparently long in the tooth and we won't bother characterizing the upstairs part, now - or will we?

mjc from NM,USA

don't care any more - got a new one - its black, and very attractive, with brass trim and is so so so nice to look at, to stroke, to buff with a soft rag, don't know if I'll ever soil it by cooking on it...mmmmm moving tomorrow.

scallowawife from beside my NEW cooker

FC: is Marmalade de Birsay not only long in tooth but also red in claw? Or has it been transformed into a pussycat suffering from PTSD because of you? And pass the Marmite, please TWS, - no need to hog it.

mjc from NM,USA

Meeeeaow!!!!! A black attractive behind with brass trim stroked and buffed....surely this is one for the Fank! mjc, m'Marmalade chum is only 6 1/2 years old, so barely middle-aged. I am a very youthful 4. And it's thanks to me he's anything approaching normal.....

Flying Cat from station frogwatch

As any blog reader would have noticed, normalcy is not what it used to be (or, as some might venture, not all it's cracked up to be either).

mjc from NM,USA

Mrrrrrriaow? Are you still there capricornsmallcat?

Flying Cat from a log cabin in the West

Guess capriconsmallcat got shocked to see its blog hijinxed in front of its unbelieving eyes. Hasn't learnt to go with the flow just yet. Sink or swim! And cats are not very likely to swim, are they now? Just asking...

mjc from NM,USA

Have you forgotten the Turkish Van cats already mjc? Do try to keep it all in your head. We're relying on you....

Flying Cat from Orkney Mainland

The Turkish military high command "took care" of the Van cats, suspected of irredentist inclinations, secession and Vancatistan (rhymes with greater Kurdistan, I would suspect) aspirations.

mjc from NM,USA

Somewhere in all of this a small zodiacally challenged cat got lost. Come back Capricorn Smallcat you have started a hare and we all want you to tell us more.

Hyper-Borean from The cattery

come on capricorn - you have to blog to get back to the top again - we have shown you you are wanted - another blog please!

scallowawife from at the bottom of the pile
