VERY nice (both the natural scene and the picture). Where? Not taken with a digital camera, surely? Which island is the Manse on?

When the picture was originally posted, it did not have location. Hence my query then (somehow not yet posted). Very nice photograph. Deserves a prize. What camera etc did you use? Where are the North Baks [Google did not help].

The picture was taken off the North Banks (sorry for my poor spelling) It was taken with a Fujifilm FinePix S550 Zoom digital camera It was taken at 3.30 in the afternoon and the wind was SE and blowing 20 Knots To capture the image I set the camera up so it would takeunlimited mutiple frames and then tracked the waves as they rolled in. I have to say that out of 256 shots this was the best!! Thanks for the nice comments.

Re Graham IBHQ from Glasgow. You definitely DO NOT surf at the North Banks! If you did, you would wash up in another country! Lovely picture though. Keep them coming!

Is it a Fujifinepix S5500 (could not find anything on S550)? SLR? How long have you had it and is it mechanically reliable? Again, very nice photo, and congratulations on winning the picture of the week (deservedly so).
