I arrived here a week ago but the job we were going to was a hoax. There are lots of unemployed here. The Board of Trade gave us a job breaking sticks. We are living in a small shack which costs 10 dollars a month between six of us. Canada is not the place it is said to be. You are far better at home with a small wage because everything is so dear here. I am sorry I came because I had a comfortable job at home.
