Prog 2 of 3 - Restoring Spring
Having found that we've lost some of the colour and sounds of season as flowers and birds have declined, the second programme looks at four initiatives to restore some of the icons of spring to the British countryside - skylarks, nightingales, bluebells and bumble bees. This programme also includes the classic 1940s recording of a skylark singing while bombers fly overhead.
The final programme - The Future of Spring Monday 13th June, 9pm, Radio 4
