ALAN LOMAX
Alan Lomax travelled the Mississippi Delta in the 1930s and 40s recording the blues. He discovered people like Lead Belly, Fred McDowell and Muddy Waters. Alun Shipton, broadcaster and music writer, Tony Russell, musician and broadcaster and Shirley Collins, English folk musician who travelled and recorded with Alan Lomax, talk about the man and his work.
