BACKGROUND
The solo instrument doesn't always get a lot of press (except for the piano), so I thought that it would be good to hear some. The three pieces, although very different, focus on the natural abilities of the instrument itself: the simpliticity of the voice, the sharpness of the oboe and the softness of the guitar. Each piece is full of repitition, but continually develops and changes.
