All classics of their kind from a few years ago with a dreamlike quality running through them. The inventive melody and enigmatic lyrics of 'Murdoch' from Trees front man, Bias Boshell, who later went on to write hits for Kiki Dee and others!...Phil Ochs' poem on the life of Christ with quite extraordinary experimental arrangement from Ian Freebairn-Smith and Joseph Byrd... and the haunting Linhs from Christian Vander and Magma sung in their own, Kobaian language and building to a woderful crescendo. Well, I like them, and I reckon they don't get played often enough!

Eric Brough, Guildford Correction by the submitter himself!... OOOPs !! I incorrectly noted the track name for the Magma track. It should not be 'Lihns', it should be 'HHAI' - it's an easy sort of mistake to make with Magmas material! E. Thu Nov 3 20:27:28 2005
