BACKGROUND
While researching my recently submitted 'your3' I noticed the large number of very short tracks on the Uri Caine CD. This has prompted this my 4th 'Your3' playlist, submitted very much 'tongue in cheek' linked by the brevity of the tracks, all less than one minute long. (I had also noticed that very many of the 'your3' lists comprised or included tracks of great length which might mean that probably they would not be broadcast.) My choices, although brief, are I think valid in their own right. The Ran Blake is a pretty straight version of a Sephardic tune. The Uri Caine is a up-tempo variation of a Bach-like tune on baroque instruments. The Bill Evans is a solo piano postscript to Evans acclaimed CD in 1958.
