BACKGROUND
I have chosen quite well known artists - Eels are downbeat rock, Yann Tiersen is Mr crazy talented French guy (who did the theme music to the film Amelie among others) and Shooglenifty are a mostly instumental Scottish band who are the eponimous inventors of the Banjax.

Firstly I have chosen the Eels track for the strong string line, which was backwards looped from another Eels track to give it the slighly eerie feel to it. Rather melancholy and laid back it fades out to let the Tiersen track come in with more jagged overtones, building tension that in turn releases to a much more mournful and distant undersea (Beethoven??) violin. Lastly the sound of waves wash over into the Shooglenifty track which again starts slowly but builds whirlingly up until you definitely need a beer.
Pretentious? Moi?
