Student Essentials Maths Exam.

All of these questions are taken from genuine GCSE Maths papers - with a Radio 2 twist. Talking is prohibited and you are forbidden from using a calculator. It's now time for the exam to begin. You may turn over your paper. Good luck.

Answers

  1. These two little Chihuahuas are busy boys, but they're also watching their weight so Claudia gets by feeding them on just SIX tins of dog food every week.
  2. One small can weighs 165g. Although, the small can does nothing for Russell. He needs some fire in his belly, so it's always baked beans in bulk for him.
  3. Steve spends most evenings practising his algebra, and he thinks this one is super easy. It is 3x + 3.
  4. Do you share Jeremy's love of triangles? If so, you'd have known it had to be 75°
  5. It was FOUR miles. It's a good job Dermot's gig was near a canal and only a couple of miles away from where he lives. What are the chances?
  6. Chris paid £104.50 in the end. That's a lot of DVDs to watch, and buckets of popcorn to consume.
  7. It's 160 units. Ken's now beginning to wish he hadn't opened his wallet, and purchased such a useless toy.
